Yester House is an 18th century mansion in East Lothian widely purported to be ‘one of the best houses in Scotland. Home for centuries to the Hay family and the Marquesses of Tweeddale. While such is the artistic significance of the grounds of the house they are included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland.
Yester House is currently being brought back to its former glory and it is only recently that the impressive grounds and walled garden dating from 1750 have been made available for exclusive-use. Be among the first to plan an event for up to 1,000 people in the dedicated marquee space.
Included within the 500 acres of Yester House is the wooded gorge of Gifford Water. This provides excellent opportunity for pheasant shoots.
